Motel 6 Ridgecrest, CA China Lake

Hey, it's not the Hyatt. There are no mints on the pillow. But it's a well-run, clean, comfortable, bed/bath/toilet for a tired, traveling working person. Just the basics, but that's all I need, and they do it well. There are none of the problems that seem to plague affordable motels - no loud guests, no sketchy people hanging around, no drug-dealing, prostitution, etc. Quiet. Perfect. And as always, pets stay free. I stay here often and will continue to.

Everything. No, it's not some high end hotel. But it IS clean, comfortable, safe, conveniently located, pet-friendly, and extremely well-run by a friendly, helpful family.

I really liked the cleanliness - of the rom and of the outside, including the grounds and parking lot. Everything was accessible and worked well.

Cheap motel but still a decent enough room. Was quiet and the room had enough space. Was a good stop to sleep on our road trip to Las Vegas.

The room and parking lot are very clean. Our room has recently been repainted. There is still some work to be done with the floor mounding. Most importantly the room is CLEAN and in working order. There is a microwave oven but no refrigerator. The room is good sized and there are numerous tv channels. The air conditioning works great which is important for the summer.
